Overlook Projects is seeking a detail-oriented, design-savvy Project Coordinator to support our residential construction projects from the comfort of your own home. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, has a strong eye for design details, and can work independently in a remote setting while collaborating closely with field teams and clients. You'll be the bridge between design and construction,making sure what's in the plans is exactly what gets built.

As a project coordinator on our team, you will:

  • Coordinate design selections with clients and ensure all specifications are documented accurately

  • Prepare and manage finish schedules, fixture lists, and design documentation

  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to confirm availability, lead times, and product details

  • Track design-related budgets and flag variances early

  • Communicate regularly with Project Managers and Site Superintendents to align on execution

  • Manage change orders related to design adjustments

  • Maintain organized, up-to-date project documentation in Buildertrend or similar platforms

  • May require quarterly site visits

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in design coordination, project coordination, or a similar role in residential construction

  • Strong understanding of residential building processes and design terminology

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficient with digital tools such as Buildertrend, Materio, or similar project management software

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying connected to a team

  • Familiarity with sustainable building practices or high-end residential projects is a plus
